    • OUR LOCATION
Where in the world is Royal Gorge Rafting?

We are located in the upper Arkansas River Basin “An Outdoor Paradise in Central Colorado” The Royal Gorge Region is geographically considered a high desert or elevated desert region where we enjoy a few notable perks as well as exceptional outdoor recreation.

1: We are further down the Arkansas River watershed which always brings us more water than up river sections.
2: We enjoy warmer water as the upper river canyons can be freezing cold to the point of being uncomfortable during spring run off.
3: The Royal Gorge Region is a playground! Enjoy: kayaking, rafting, mountain biking, hiking, fishing and much much more.
