Before launching, we provide a mandatory safety briefing covering paddling techniques, what to expect while whitewater rafting in Colorado, and how to self-rescue if necessary. As part of our commitment to safety, we employ a team of professional safety kayakers for our Royal Gorge and High Water Bighorn trips (Class IV or more). These skilled kayakers are trained to assist swimmers, identify hazards, retrieve paddles, rafts and perform rescues. Our internationally recognized kayak support program highlights our dedication to both swift-water rescue and your overall experience.
