Each trip starts with a safety orientation. Each person is provided with a Personal Flotation Device, and our guides will be with them every step of the way!

For extra safety, we have a team of kayakers on standby. They are ready to assist you and your team in case your raft capsizes or if you accidentally end up in the water. If any paddles are accidentally dropped into the river, our support kayakers can recover them. These extra members of our team are another step towards a safe Salida, CO rafting experience.

You’ll want to wear the same kind of clothes you would wear to the beach, like quick drying shorts, board shorts, bathing suit, secure footwear, and a quick drying shirt. It is also a good idea to pack a water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and a light jacket for the colder months.

We are one of the only companies to offer in-house photo services! Our kayakers are equipped with cameras that are made and ready to capture your Salida, CO rafting adventure! From action shot, to candids and the surrounding sorcery, our kayakers capture the whole experience for you to remember for a long time.

We get it—plans can change. That’s why we have a Worry Free and Start Cancellation Plan. If you need to adjust or reschedule your trip, just let us know. We require 10 days notice for a cancellation and 30 days notice if it is for a group of 12 or more. To reschedule your tip, there are very few limitations. Our trips rain or shine. We will make sure you are equipped with any gear you need so that we can have an epic trip, no matter the weather! If the weather becomes too extreme, we reserve the right to alter or cancel the trip for the safety of the group.
